What if by adding more rules, or laws, I become sidetracked, or I find them hard to follow and then find myself feeling negative about not being able to follow them all exactly.

It takes me back to my original question of “If my life is going great… and the law of attraction is flowing through me powerfully, using the Secret Course method, what is my motive to change horses in the middle of the race?”

There seems to be a new trend emerging in the field of the Law of Attraction. The trend goes something like this:

“Dear John, I have been thinking about [insert thing of desire here] every night for 3 weeks straight and yet I still don’t have [insert thing of desire here] yet.”

1 – The Law of Acction is … NOT…. “thinking”. I’m sorry, but it’s not. Thinking about something is NOT what powers the law of attraction. I know… I know… the power of positive thinking… but thinking about something alone does not make anything happen. Period. You have to FEEL in order to give your thoughts power. FEEL yourself already having what you desire. Thinking is only useful in so far as it can create the feeling within you.

2 – Sitting On Your Butt Does NOT Work - Again, I am sorry to be the one to break this to you, but sitting on your couch all day thinking about what you want is not going to bring it to you. I know many people who are currently doing just that. They are sitting on their butt doing wishful thinking. NEWS FLASH… Some action is going to be required on your part.

What is the point in having a physical body inside a physical world, if you are not going to use it? Yes, we are spiritual beings, but we are spiritual beings who are currently having a physical experience. You and I are here to play this wonderful game called life. We didn’t come here to sit on our physical butts and do nothing but think all day.

If you want to manifest a spiritual thing for yourself, then meditate. If you meditate deep enough, I know for a fact you will have an amazing spiritual awakening. You will see things that you can not explain to others and gain insight into yourself and the meaning of life.

But… if you want money, a car, a house, a lover, improved health or any other PHYSICAL THING, you are going to have to have to interact PHYSICALLY. It doesn’t seem that hard to grasp, but it must be since so many people are missing the boat on this one.

If you are trying to manifest money, and I know a lot of people who are, you will need to keep your eyes open for a sign from the universe. When you get the sign… YOU ACT ON IT.

Millions of people want to win the lottery but they don’t buy lottery tickets. In a physical universe it is much harder to win the lottery when you won’t even take the action to buy the ticket.

No – I am not suggesting you run out an buy a lottery ticket. What I am saying is if you are manifesting money by using the Law of Attraction to pull it to you, keep mindful of signs from the universe and be ready to take the necessary action.

HINT: If it is something that you absolutely do not want to do, then it is a not a sign. If an idea suddenly strikes you and you get that “AHA” feeling (feelings are your directional compass) then go with it and take action immediately. If you don’t, someone else will, because the universe likes speed. It demands motion. Nothing stands still for long.

There is a reason why science proves that optimistic people live longer than pessimistic people.

#2 – Use A Visualization Method- It is vital to your success that you actually picture where you want to be in your life. Visualize yourself driving the you desire, being healthier, financially independent, or whatever you heart desires.

How can you hope to have a fulfilling life if you don’t know where it is that you want to go?

#3 – Daily Affirmations – The two most powerful times to use a daily affirmation is when you first wake up before you get out of bed, and the last thought you have just before you go off to sleep. Be thankful for your health, your food, the sunshine, the birds, the grass, the people around you, your family, the two legs that you walk on everyday. You can be thankful for a good tv show, a movie, a song, a good conversation. Be thankful that you have a roof over your head and that you don’t have to sleep in the rain.

If I wanted to blatantly self promote, I would have made #5 get a personal trainer and then recommend myself. I do think that everyone needs a personal trainer or life coach, even the personal trainers themselves do.

Whatever route you decide, be proactive. Don’t wait for things to come to you. You have to make things happen for you, and not too you.
