It can be easy to overlook the amazing things you already have in your life and instead focus on the things that you do not possess.  Perhaps it is a new car, or a loving spouse, a better house or a more fit body.

I am not sure what it is about the power of gratitude that makes it:

A) Feel so great

and

B) Have a huge (positive) impact on your life.

Want to see how great being grateful feels?

The best way to fully appreciate the power of gratitude is to use it when you lay down to sleep each night.

My new nightly routine is to first use a Manifesting Card, to attract and manifest into reality that which I desire.  After using the Manifesting Card, I lay my head on my pillow, close my eyes, and begin thinking of all the things I have in my life to be grateful for.

• I am thankful for each of my children, and the joy that they bring me.
• I am thankful for my loving wife and our time together
• I am thankful for the comfort and protection that my house provides
• I am thankful I make a living doing what I enjoy
• I am thankful that I have enough food and water to eat
• I am thankful for my health and my families health
• Sometimes I am shallow, and thankful for a new gadget or toy.
• Some nights I think of specific experiences I had during the day, and am thankful that they occurred.

When you do this, you drift off to sleep feeling incredibly rich and thankful.  What a great way to end every day.

I can still remember how I use to drift off to sleep thinking about all the things that never got done in a day…   WOW, those were bad years.  Each night I went to sleep unhappy and frustrated, and the universe delivered more things to be unhappy and frustrated about the next day.  It was a vicious cycle.   If only I had known then what I know now….

Here’s to you feeling grateful, happy and blessed tonight when you lay down to sleep!

In the early spring I plant the seeds, knowing full well that later in the year I will be able to eat wonderful foods that came from my efforts.

So today, I was working in my garden, and I realized that the law of attraction is a lot like gardening.

When you want to have food in the garden, it all begins with a seed.  You then nourish and water the seed and it grows and grows until one day you find yourself with the fruits of your labor.

The seeds are like the seed of thought, and all things in life begin with thought.  Without the correct mindset…  without nourishing positive thoughts, you can not expect positive outcome.

Now, most people live life under the false assumption that things are random.  They have no idea what will appear in their life (or in their garden) and they hope that something good happens to grow.

They live on what ever they find, all the while not realizing that they are in charge of what grows.

Other people would walk into the garden and demand food in the spring.  “Where is the food?” they would ask.   They want things immediately and are disappointed when the food is not there before the seeds are planted.

These people don’t have time for seeds.  They are too busy.  So they go from garden to garden always hoping to find fruits and wanting to live on the seeds and fruits of others.

Someone who understand the law of attraction is like a master gardener.   They realize that the soil must be fertile  (the mind) and that they must plant the seeds of what they desire (specific positive thoughts) and then they nourish the seeds until they grow into what the gardener desired when he planted them (Manifesting).

The law of attraction is much like a garden.  The results do not happen over night.  Everything in your life was planted long ago.  Events are not random…  you have more control of things than you ever imagined.

So if things are happening in your life that you do not want, the master gardener would say you must pull your weeds.

Pull your weeds…  stop attracting what you do not desire.

You see, if you have a garden full of weeds, it is still your garden.  You allowed them to grow by not pulling them.

If you have a life full of things you do not desire, make changes today.  Pull your weeds and plant the seeds of what you truly desire.  Then nourish your seeds and watch them grow into your desires.

When I wrote the Secret Course I was not thinking of gardening, but Book I: (Harness The Power of The Law of Attraction) of the Secret course prepares your soil for planting.  It removes your weeds  and gets the soil ready for your new seeds. This is the base for the new garden that is to come.

Where did you get your beliefs from?  Did you pick them up along the beaten path of life, or were they given to you by your parents when you were still a child?

No matter where your beliefs are from, I challenge you to take a long hard honest look at them and see if they are serving you.

Since your beliefs are creating your personal world, it would seem wise to only hang on to beliefs that serve you.

For example, if you believe that life is tough, you will be creating a very tough life for yourself.  You might believe that to be true because your parents had a tough life and you have had a tough life too.

So what?

Who cares what your life has been like before today.   The past is simply the result of previous thinking.

If you do not like having a tough life I suggest you replace that belief!

I believe that things in life go easily and smoothly.  I also believe that I can have anything I put my mind to.

So when I want something, I simply pull out a Manifesting Card, and I focus on the end result of already possessing it.

Then I sit back and watch the universe re-align things in a way to make my wish come true.

How easy is that?

Yes, I sometimes have to take action, and when I see the events align in a way that leads me to believe that I need to take a small easy action I jump at the opportunity because the universe loves speed.

I USED to believe that life was tough.   I replaced that belief and now life is easy.

I USED to believe that “money was hard to come by”, and now money comes in steady and when I need more something suddenly happens to give me the more of what I need.

I USED to feel guilty when I went out spending money, but now I get home and usually find that I earned more than normal that day and like magic the “extra” money I spent is already replaced.

I USED to be unhealthy, and now (You Wont Believe This – Click Here For Details) my health is better than anytime in life, even though I am the oldest I have ever been.  (Of course, so are you at this very moment.)

I have heard that question more than once in my life.  I heard it when I decided to write my first book.  I heard it when I decided to quit my job and work from home….  and now I am hearing it because I have decided to build a 10 foot tall building.

“What in the world has made you think you could build a 10 foot high work shop?”

To which I reply, “What in the world made you think I could not?”

Just because you have never done something before, does not mean that you can’t!  There is a first time for EVERYTHING.

There is a big difference between knowing the law of attraction, and living the law of attraction.

Knowing the law of attraction to many people means trying to feel good and keep a positive attitude.  They may even focus on manifesting something once and a while.

LIVING a life in harmony with the law of attraction, began with the teachings in the Secret Course.   I used manifesting Cards until they became a such an ingrained thing… a way of life for me…  that this is now how I live.

You see, it is true that I have no idea how to build a workshop, but I envisioned myself using this workshop.  Each night I used a manifesting card and FELT grateful for my new workshop.

(Using a manifesting card you work backwards, and begin at the end.  The beginning is being thankful for already having something that you do not yet have.  Feeling yourself having it, attracts or creates it into your life, to complete the circle)

Sooo…..   I buy the wood, and I have the plans, and even though I have NO WAY of knowing HOW this building will be constucted, I DO KNOW THAT IT WILL BE.  That certainty has a calming effect.

You see, the old me would have panicked over the details.  The old me would say “I can never do that”….  but I no longer allow such such limiting thoughts.

One way or another, it will be done.   It took me over a week to build the floor and foundation.  Each time a negative thought entered my mind, I would release it and let it leave as easily as it had come in.

I had no idea that my good friend John was going to stop in from out of town.   It turns out that his wife was out of state with family and he was more than happy to help me erect the walls.

What perfect timing too, because I had just finished the raised floor, and spent a great deal of time getting it level.

Sunday, we were able to erect all four walls.  It was amazing.  My neighbors couldn’t believe how fast we put this thing up.  In fact, we even had time to build the gable roof raters.

What was even more amazing was how much fun we had doing it.  We kept laughing like school kids and having a great time telling stories and catching up.  It didn’t even feel like work.  It all flowed perfectly.

I enjoyed my visit with John, and getting the building up was a great bonus!

Monday I have finished all of the project except for sheeting the roof.

Now I have to admit that the roof seems nearly impossible to nail on, since it is 12 feet in the air and I don’t feel that the rafters are strong enough for me to stand on (I am, and always have been, a large man).

Yes, I could hire someone….   I always could have hired someone, but I wanted the experience of doing it myself.  I am very happy having built the entire building, to hire someone just for the roof.

Here it is Tuesday, and I am set to hire someone when another friend of mine calls me up from down my street.  He offers to come over and help me with the roof today after he gets off work.

I had no idea how it was going to be built, only the certainty that it would.

When you manifest something, think of  it as destiny.  It is destined to be.  The universe will make it so, as long as you don’t hesitate (the universe loves speed) and as long as you are ready and willing to take some form of action.

Keep in mind that whenever you decide to do something new with your life, people will try to stop you.  They can’t see your new vision, and they will try to hold you back.  For various reasons, they like the old you and don’t like the idea of change.

When I decided to write my first book, my own mom said something along the lines of “Why would anyone read what you have to say?”.   She didn’t see me as a writer, and she wanted to keep me the way she saw me.

Don’t let anyone stop you.  I didn’t even allow myself to get angry at my mother for such an insensitive remark, because that would have taken me further off course.  Instead, I kept my vision of helping people and kept writing what eventually became one of the best selling Law of Attraction courses of all time.

Yes, I did have friends who believed in me, and some who even encouraged me to write the book(s) because they saw how much my the law of attraction had changed my life.

A good general rule, however, is NOT to tell others what you are manifesting until AFTER you have manifested it.  This way no one will be working against you .

You can do anything you wan to.
You can be anyone you want to be.

Decide what you want, and go for it.  It’s already yours.

Yes and No.

Can they actually backfire?

Yes. Let me explain:

The two most powerful times to use a daily affirmation is when you first wake up before you get out of bed, and the last thought you have just before you go off to sleep. Those are the best times to program your subconscious mind. Certainly, the more times each day the better, but those two times pack the most impact.

Now, let’s say that your affirmation is “My body is completely healthy and lean” and it’s  the first thing you say every morning and the last thing you think before you drift off to sleep each night.

Will these words make you healthy and lean?

NO.

Words have no power in the law of attraction. If you say that you are healthy and lean everyday it will have no attraction power by itself. None. Zip. Zero. You might as well say you are the king of Egypt for all it matters.

It is the feeling that activates the attraction. Feeling is the vibration that goes out from you into the universe and actively attracts to you. Hollow words with no feelings attached have no power whatsoever.

So to make an affirmation have any power at all, you have to have to FEEL that which you are saying. In the example above, many people who are overweight will affirm that they are thin, but inside they are FEELING even fatter as they say the affirmation because they know it is a lie. Day in and day out, the affirmation is resulting in the FEELING of being fat, so you are in essence attracting more of being fat, not being thin. Thus, the affirmation backfires completely.

The universe does not speak English, Spanish or any other spoken or written language. The universe runs completely on vibration. Vibrations in you are powered by feelings. So if you want to have or be something, you have to vibrate at that level. Words are completely unnecessary to the universe, but they can be helpful for you to get you into that state of vibration.

If you can feel thin, without any words at all, then consider that your daily affirmation. IF you need words to make you feel thin, then use the words, but remember it is the feeling that counts. Pay attention to what you are feeling when you say the affirmation.

Remember, all affirmations are to be said (and felt) in the present tense, never the future. For example you never affirm that you are GOING TO BE anything, because what you are putting out into the universe is a constant message of “going to be” , and not actually being or having that you desire. That is never a good place to be stuck.

If you want to be healthy, feel healthy now and be thankful now for your great health. If you want to have money, feel having money now and be thankful for the tons of money you currently have. Like attracts like. You don’t want to attract “Someday being rich” to yourself.

Gratitude is a powerful vibrational feeling, so it can be used to begin almost any affirmation.
Some great examples of affirmations are:

I am so grateful that:
Money comes to be easily and frequently
My life flows through grace and ease
I have the house of my dreams
That universe is supporting me in my every effort

Even more powerful than affirmations is the use of a Manifesting Card. A Manifesting Card combines the power of daily affirmations, with the power of a vision boards, visualization, power of positive thinking, and the gratitude method….

Imagine the power of all those tools rolled into one little card that you can easily put into your pocket…    that is the power of a Manifesting Card.

Using the Manifesting Cards method will dramatically cut down the time it takes for your manifestations to come true.

Daily affirmations DO work, but they can take a LONG time before you see results.  There are many different reasons for this, all of which I cover inside here.

When I read the card I allow myself to feel healthy.  I imagine myself with a body that is stronger and full of more vigor.

I lay on my back and with my eyes closed, just before falling asleep, I use the Extraordinary Health visualization/meditation As I use this simple technique, I actually feel stronger and feel healthier.

Now most of you who know me know that it was using the Manifesting Cards method that allowed me to shed over 100lbs of unwanted body weight.

Manifesting Cards work, but for health…  I combined the power of Law of Attraction with mind over matter healing and simply relaxed myself to sleep using this meditation

Amazingly, I was able to cure two conditions that doctors told me were “incurable”.

But right now, I am not trying to overcome anything in particular.   I am just using the Extraordinary Health meditation,  even though I am healthy, because I know that without health nothing else matters.

Something Very Unexpected Has Happened…

But first, I want to speak to anyone who doesn’t think that health is the most important aspect in your life.   I have worked with people in the past who thought money was more important than health, but I always begin by asking them what good would 10 million dollars do you if you had a terminal disease that was going to kill you tomorrow?

Money is important, but not more important than your health.

Love is important, but love is stronger, deeper and longer lasting when the people in love are healthy and not suffering from body pains.

Some people crave power.  While this is not one that I can relate to, because the only power I want is power over my own life, I still have to ask the power hungry person what good would all the power in the world do you if you didn’t have power over your own health?

It is my opinion that health needs to come first.

So as I mentioned earlier, I have been doing this for the last few months and I have had a few strange things happen.

Before I share my amazing results, I have to set the record straight:

For the record: I am not making any medical claims nor am I a doctor.  I am just sharing my own personal experience with the world.  I am not trying to diagnose or cure anyone.

Now, with that out of the way, here is my story:

First, I had a doctors exam, and my doctor ran a full panel of blood tests….  Much to both of our surprise -  everything came back normal.  Now when I say everything , I mean EVERYTHING.

My white blood cell count, my HDL, LDL, triglycerides, liver enzymes,  RBC, Hct, Hbg, MCV, MCH, RDW, and all the other things they measure (most of which I am never told what they mean unless one or more of them are too high or too low) all came back perfect.

I have been getting blood tests once a year since I was in my twenties and there has ALWAYS been SOMETHING that the doctor wanted to warn me about.  In the past I have had high liver enzymes that made the doctor suspect a fatty liver.  I had a high white blood cell count which led the doctor to think I had some kind of underlying infection.  I have had high “bad” cholesterol  and I even had “low” good cholesterol show up twice.  I have had borderline values in various things that led the doctor to tell me we were going to “keep an eye on that with a followup test in 6 months”.

Here I am, closing in on 40 and my blood test comes back perfect…  EVERYTHING exactly where it needs to be!

For that, I am very grateful and happy.

But last week I had something equally amazing happen.

I started getting headaches and I noticed that it appeared to be coming from my eyes.  When I put my glasses on my vision seemed to be worse than it was without my glasses.

I have been near sighted since I was a child.

I decided it must be time for an eye exam and I suspected that I may need a stronger prescription for my lenses.  It had been at least two years since my last eye exam.

I went in and had a full eye exam and to my surprise I was told that my left eye had somehow become nearly perfect and that it no longer needed  a correcting.

My right eye had improved some, but the prescription he wrote for it was so mild that he said he wasn’t sure it would be worth getting glasses for.

This is why things appeared more blurry to me WITH my glasses than it did without my glasses.

I showed him my old glasses and he thought that someone had not done a good eye exam and had incorrectly given me far to strong of lenses.  I tried to reassure him that these glasses used to work great for me but he doubted it possible that eyes would be improving and found it more likely that my previous eye exam, which was done by different eye doctor, was flawed.

So, after three to four months of consistently using the Extraordinary Health Meditation each night just before falling asleep, my health REALLY does seem to be improving.  I feel better and a blood test and even an eye exam seem to back it up.

Skeptics would call it a coincidence or luck.

I like to call it “Creating My Own Luck”.

Needless to say….  I AM VERY EXCITED.

Is this the way to put this? Just not sure and thanks for all your help. I desire to attact the right one.”

Hello Barbie,

That is a great question.  I get a lot of similar questions, so I would like to use it in this weeks newsletter (only using your first name) unless you object.

While I understand what you are trying to accomplish, I would suggest a different way to word it and to think about it.

You can not manifest for someone else, the power of manifesting is to manifest for yourself.  In your example:

“Gail is now attracting his ideal job, receiving wonderful pay”

The point of view is not your own.   You need to put on your manifesting card whatever it is that YOU want to attract into YOUR life.

Yes, you can alter your reality in a way that effects other people (everything we do effects other people even if we don’t recognize it at the time), but you need to go at this from your own point of view.

You can give a card to Gail and he can manifest for himself too…  there is nothing wrong with that, but then again I do say in my book to not tell others what you are manifesting until you accomplish your goals, so you should still fill out your cards in private.

“Attracting“ is not a word you should ever use on a manifesting card.  Remember, when you fill out a manifesting card, you are speaking in the present tense, as if you have already accomplished something.

When I was broke, and I desperately needed money for myself and my family, I began by saying ” I am so happy and thankful now that I have $5,000 in the bank”.  At the time, I had about twenty dollars to my name, but when I read that manifesting card, I FELT like I had $5,000 in the bank, and I IMAGINED that I had $5,000 in the bank.

Sure, when I first began it felt silly.  Part of my mind knew darn well I did not have $5,000 in the bank, but the more times I used that Manifesting card the more it began to feel real.   Once it began to feel real, money began to flow to me from several different areas and soon I had $5,000 in the bank even though I was spending it to catch up on bills.

When you say  “attracting”, what you are manifesting into your reality is a state of attracting.  In other words, you are creating a future reality where you DO NOT have what you desire, but rather are working at attracting it to you.

You should state it as if you already have it.

I am not 100% sure what you desire, but my best guess is that you desire your husband to be home more and for you to have more money.  Instead of manifesting a new job, I would just manifest what you want, and let the universe  (or God, or whatever word you desire to use here) decide the best way to deliver it to you.

You have three entries on the Manifesting Card, so I would use line #1 to be something that you can manifest easily in order to build your confidence and to gain experience in the process (as I outlined in the book).

For Line number two I would use something like this:

“I am so happy and thankful now that… Gail and I spend fun filled hours at home together everyday.”

This way you get your husband home with you and you enjoy each other company. Again, I am just guessing that this is what you desire.

The reason I include “fun filled” is because a while back when my wife was working outside the house, I decided to manifest more time with her at home, and the following week she was home sick for 3 day in a row.  Yes, the universe can have a sense of humor it would seem.

An interesting twist would be to remove the “at home” part, and leave it to chance to see where you spend your fun filled hours together everyday.  Is being at home important?

Line number three you could address the money issue with something like:

“I am so happy and thankful now that… my bank account always has $5,000 in it”

Of course, you can choose whatever amount you find believable.  I never advise anyone to start off saying “a million dollars” because the mind will reject it.  So if $5,000 sounds good to you, then shoot for that.  Saying “always has $5,000 in it” means you can spend money and it continues to refill, otherwise you may find yourself with a $5,000 one-time payment and then you are back to square one.

Remember, it is important to FEEL the results.  Live them out in your mind and feel them in your body.  Carry yourself as if this is real.  Pretend until one day you realize you are no longer pretending and your husband is home more and you have all the money you need.

It is great fun to see just how the universe will deliver what you focus on.  You may find that Gail works from home, or perhaps he doesn’t need to work at all…. You just never know what will happen.

So, always focus on what you want and don’t worry about how the universe will deliver it… and when you read that manifesting card aloud, as explained in the book, be sure you FEEL it as if it were real right now… right this very second.

Hello Alex,

I think your example is a fine approach. Just remember to “feel” it when you say it. The feeling is the most important part.

“I am so happy and thankful that I have $10,000 in my bank account”.
Visualizing the number on the computer screen (if you check your balance online like I do) or on the paper statement, and feeling what it feels like to have $10,000 in your bank account.

It certainly feels different to know you have money. It feels good. It feels more relaxed and more confident.

Remember, that if you can’t make yourself FEEL it, then you can’t manifest it. If $10,000 feels impossible to you right now, then use a smaller number. Starting small is always a good thing if your mind does not accept a larger number.

BUT… don’t be afraid to ask for more…. Many of us keep our goals small because we are afraid of failing. Don’t let fear hold you back. If you decide to start small, be sure to grow and expand on that goal…. until one day $10,000 in you bank account feels pretty darn reasonable to you.

Once you have the amount in mind… and you can feel it… Just use the power of repetition to make it happen.

Take what just happened to me for example….

Last week I found myself in Lowe’s hardware store shopping for a new garden hose.  I didn’t want a flimsy 5/8 inch hose either, I wanted a 3/4 inch industrial quality hose.  One that I knew would stand the test of time and not burst under the immense water pressure that irrigation water can occasionally deliver.

While I was in the store, my son Logan wanted to look at the kitchen displays that they had set up.  I agreed and we walked through them looking at the newest model dishwashers and refrigerators, counter tops and of course new cabinets.

But none of those things caught my eye.  What did strike me were the faucets.  I don’t know why, but I spent a great deal of time looking at all the fancy sink faucets.   They had a wide assortment of different styles, but  I really liked the one that allows you to extend the main faucet itself out of the fixture and reach up to 15 feet in to your kitchen.  Why you would need that is beyond me, but I certainly wanted to have it.

I have no idea why I spent so much time looking at them, there was nothing wrong with the kitchen faucet I had.  I already had a nice double stainless steel sink, with a perfectly good working faucet.

I wanted to buy one right there on the spot…  and even though I had the money I just couldn’t justify it in my mind.  Especially since the one I was interested in was  a couple hundred dollars.

In all honesty I almost bought one…. I mean what’s the point of attracting wealth if you can’t spend it on what you desire.  But it felt like a waste of money to replace something that worked perfectly.  Probably my blue collar upbringing.

My desire had been broadcast.  The Law of Attraction was already in action, even though I was not aware of it.

Tuesday night, less than a week later, Logan calls for me from the kitchen.  I was busy at the moment, but he assured me it was an emergency.

Logan had been rinsing his plate like a good boy, after and without warning the faucet began spraying water all over the place when it was turned on.  He was pretty upset and worried that he had done something wrong somehow (he is nine years old).

I had to laugh.

Logan was busy telling me how all he did was turn the water on to rinse his plate when it started shooting water across the kitchen.  I assured Logan he was not in any trouble…  and I shook my head and laughed.

There is no doubt in my mind that my desire to purchase a new faucet was what attracted this so-called problem.  The fact that our faucet had been working perfectly was the only thing holding me back from purchasing a new one.

That little problem has been solved.  I now have every reason to purchase a new faucet.

As a parent, I have learned a lot about life from my three children.  This Saturday, my nine year old son, Logan, showed me the difference in thinking between children and adults.

It was a HUGE lesson for me… and aside from being a cute story, I offer it up to reveal this hidden truth for you as well!

Logan and I were out running various errands together.  Our last stop took us to Subway for a nice healthy sub sandwich.

It had been a good day and all of our stops had gone smoothly, just as I had envisioned.

I ordered my sandwich first, with every vegetable they had, and a drink.  Logan then ordered a foot long sandwich for the first time, with chips and a drink.  He was pretty hungry that day and excited about the possibility of having some left over for lunch the next day.

When the person making the sandwiches rang up our order, it came to $13.87 which coincidently was the EXACT amount of cash I had left in my wallet.  Sure, I had my debit card with me and several credit cards, so if it had been more it wouldn’t have mattered because I had access to all of my money.   That’s not the point….  It was the fact that the total was the exact amount of money… TO THE PENNY that I had on me.

We both were talking about how neat that was as we carried our meals to our table.  Logan’s little smile was ear to ear.

Then for a moment, he looked sad.  I asked him what was wrong, and he said “Oh Nothing” which is usually code for “ask me again dad”.  So I asked him again if there was anything on his mind.

“I just realized that I wanted a cookie and I know you won’t use one of your cards for a one dollar cookie”

He was correct.  I don’t like to use my debit cards for such a small amount.  Being a business owner I know first hand that the fees the bank charges per sale means that the store would actually loose money on a one dollar item.

The only employee there was now sweeping the floor because he was getting ready to close early.  He had already pulled the chips rack.  We were the only customers in the place.  Maybe he had already shut down the ATM/Credit Card machine?

“But that’s okay.  I am going to think positive and I know that a cookie will show up”

My first thought was how in the world is he going to do that?  I sat there thinking about logical things such as nearby ATM’s or making a larger purchase.  Then I was thinking about how he probably doesn’t even need a sugar laden cookie anyway.

“It’s okay Dad.  I’m using the law of attraction” he said with a grin.

Ha Ha Ha.  I burst out laughing.  Of course this required an explanation on my part because Logan could not see anything funny about this.

Leave it to a child to show an adult what living in the moment is all about.  As an adult, I use the Law of Attraction in big ways on what I think are important things.  Such as keeping myself healthy… and attracting wealth to me.  I’ve used it for a house and for a car…  but never for a cookie.

At that moment in time, Logan wanted a cookie.  Not a thousand dollars…. Not a mansion… not a new car… he wanted a cookie and he had faith that he would get one.

I explained to him why I had laughed and how proud of him I was.

He told me “I learned it all from you Dad… and from reading your book”

Which is true….  I had taught him about the Law of Attraction. In fact, Logan was one of the first people in the world to read the  Manifesting Cards eBook.

The first thing he did was to manifest himself a brand new bicycle that was nearly identical to mine (18 speeds, chrome and purple, etc)…  a bike that I had no idea that was even made….  But that’s a story for another time.

We both went back to eating our sandwiches.  I couldn’t have been happier with my son than at that moment.  We sat there smiling at each other enjoying our food, when suddenly Logan saw the sticker on the wrapper of my sandwich.

It was a SubWay Scrabble game piece that said “More ways to win”.  I peeled it off and it said “Sorry, not an instant winner”  Logan found his an peeled it and it said the same.

For a moment I sat surprised.  I thought wow… that seemed like the perfect way to win a free cookie.  Of course I wasn’t even sure that cookies were offered as a prize.

He didn’t look sad though.  He still had faith that he was going to get a cookie somehow… some way.  The how was not his job.  His job was the absolute unwavering faith…  and he had it.

That’s when I noticed that there were game pieces on our cups also.

He peeled his back and it said “You’ve won a 12 oz fountain drink”.  That’s pretty neat… but not what we were hoping for.

Logan said “You must have the cookie then!” referring to the game piece I had not peeled off of my cup yet.

I peeled the game piece from my cup and sure enough I had won a free cookie.

YES! – Logan and I celebrated.

“I knew it,” Logan said.

A month from now Logan may not remember this incident, but this is a prime example of how the Law of Attraction can be used in the moment.  It’s a great lesson to all of us to live in the moment.

You may not have a million dollars at this moment, but maybe what you really want is a cookie.

PS – It’s a great idea to keep a journal of all the times you have used the law of attraction.  This way you can look back over all your past successes if you ever find your faith wavering.

When you see a million dollar mansion, your conscious mind – in a fraction of a second – reaches down into your subconscious mind and decides how it wants to react to the visual of a million dollar mansion.

How you view it is completely dependent on what you have programmed your subconscious mind  over all the your years of life.

Some will see it and think “It must be nice”…. or “Wish I could have one of those”…. or “wonder who they robbed to get that”.

If you believe that money is bad, or that being a millionaire is somehow bad, you are going to push that away from you. You will keep yourself from ever feeling welcome to having a million dollar mansion.

What if you could program your subconscious mind to accept the belief that you are wealthy and that you live in a million dollar mansion?
