This has made me aware of how many non-happy or non-positive thoughts I allow in my own daily routines.

Here is one popular pitfall that should be avoided:

Entertainment:

I quit watching the nightly news years ago because of all the negativity and how it made me feel.  But I never thought of this:

When watching TV or going out to a movie, if you want to remain true to the only positive thoughts for 7 day challenge, you need to steer clear of Dramas, Violence, Horror, Action and instead watch a good comedy.   Laughing is very positive, but feeling scared, or ready to fight, or anger…  those are all negative emotions, and they are hard to avoid when you are watching a TV show or Movie.

I went and saw an action movie with a friend of mine and realized this while watching it.  It became a very strange movie for me when I began doing deep breathing and focused on relaxing my body.  Instead of feeling tense or involved in the movie at all, I felt great…  similar to meditative state, and the movie played on in front of me as if it were background.

People were kicking, shooting, yelling and fighting, all the while I remained in this near meditative state.  It felt surreal.

When you really think about it, the human race thrives on negativity.  Most people crave it because they have become addicted to feeling bad.  How else would you explain all the scary, violent movies and tv programming?

Each and every one of us has the freedom to chose what we are going to program ourselves with.  Like it or not, when you sit in a movie theater immersed in a horror, action or a drama that makes you feel tense for the whole two hours, you are programming yourself to feel tense.  It conditions your subconscious mind.

It is surprising how hard it is trying to think only positive thoughts for just one week.  Imagine how powerful this would be if we could do it for a month….  6months…  or a whole year.

To be honest, these pictures do not do justice to the breath taking scenery.

I had a wonderful time in Sedona, and to be honest with you it was hard for me to leave.  I visited some very special and sacred spots (not pictured) and had a most enlightening meditation.

In the early spring I plant the seeds, knowing full well that later in the year I will be able to eat wonderful foods that came from my efforts.

So today, I was working in my garden, and I realized that the law of attraction is a lot like gardening.

When you want to have food in the garden, it all begins with a seed.  You then nourish and water the seed and it grows and grows until one day you find yourself with the fruits of your labor.

The seeds are like the seed of thought, and all things in life begin with thought.  Without the correct mindset…  without nourishing positive thoughts, you can not expect positive outcome.

Now, most people live life under the false assumption that things are random.  They have no idea what will appear in their life (or in their garden) and they hope that something good happens to grow.

They live on what ever they find, all the while not realizing that they are in charge of what grows.

Other people would walk into the garden and demand food in the spring.  “Where is the food?” they would ask.   They want things immediately and are disappointed when the food is not there before the seeds are planted.

These people don’t have time for seeds.  They are too busy.  So they go from garden to garden always hoping to find fruits and wanting to live on the seeds and fruits of others.

Someone who understand the law of attraction is like a master gardener.   They realize that the soil must be fertile  (the mind) and that they must plant the seeds of what they desire (specific positive thoughts) and then they nourish the seeds until they grow into what the gardener desired when he planted them (Manifesting).

The law of attraction is much like a garden.  The results do not happen over night.  Everything in your life was planted long ago.  Events are not random…  you have more control of things than you ever imagined.

So if things are happening in your life that you do not want, the master gardener would say you must pull your weeds.

Pull your weeds…  stop attracting what you do not desire.

You see, if you have a garden full of weeds, it is still your garden.  You allowed them to grow by not pulling them.

If you have a life full of things you do not desire, make changes today.  Pull your weeds and plant the seeds of what you truly desire.  Then nourish your seeds and watch them grow into your desires.

When I wrote the Secret Course I was not thinking of gardening, but Book I: (Harness The Power of The Law of Attraction) of the Secret course prepares your soil for planting.  It removes your weeds  and gets the soil ready for your new seeds. This is the base for the new garden that is to come.

Book II (The Manifesting Cards Method) is the instruction manual of sowing seeds.  It tells you how many seeds to sow, gives you the right seeds and the instructions to make sure your seeds grow up healthy and strong and as quickly as possible.  This is the growing book.

With both of these books, it is my belief that anyone can have a strong healthy life without weeds.

I know it may be hard to believe, but no one can make you angry.  No one can make you cry.

Yes, people can behave in ways that you do not prefer, but ultimately it is always your choice on how you choose to react to their actions.

Have an argument with someone?

Okay, now that it is over you can choose to let it go and no longer think about it.  It is your choice.  If you choose to dwell on it, then you will only be damaging yourself.

It may be tempting to want to hold on to anger because:  “You know you were right”  or because “That is not fair”, but anger weakens you over time.  You may feel empowered by anger, but it wreaks havoc on your body and your health….

When it comes to arguments (especially with spouses) Kim Miller use to teach:  “I would rather be happy than right.”

The law of attraction tells us that we get more of what we feel like, so if you allow yourself to feel angry often, you will be attracting more things for you to feel angry about.

Let me explain,

I have been broke in my past.  So broke in fact that I had to file for bankruptcy.  Sure, I was frustrated, but I never was poor.

You see, once I discovered the power of The Secret Course, I knew that I was rich long before the money showed up.

Being broke is a temporary state in which you have a temporary lack of money.

Being poor is a way of life.

Poor people believe they have bad luck…

they believe that life is hard….

they are often jealous, envious or even bitter towards people who have money…

and they expect to always be poor.

Your thoughts, your attitude, your expectation and even how and what you say to others are all creating your personal future.

Be sure you never fall into the “poor me” trap, and instead KNOW that you are rich.

When you think about something and feel about something, the universe takes it as a wish.  Even if you REALLY don’t want the thing you are thinking about.  You see, the universe is not a mind reader.  Nor does it speak English.

Vibration is the best term we have to describe the language of the universe.  Whatever state you are in, you send out a vibrational frequency that attracts other similar frequencies to you.  (Read More About This Here)

With that in mind, you may get a little giggle out of the story I am about to share.

Sunday I was running errands in town with my son Logan.  As you may have read last week, I am building a workshop and Saturday I got the roof boards on. (Thanks for the hand Ronnie).

So Sunday I am picking out paint colors and getting roofing paper, Shingles, Caulk, Latches, Peg Board,  a Work Bench and all the other fun stuff that goes along with this project.  In total, we spent 3 hours getting all the supplies we needed to make this a perfect workshop.

Three hours is an insanely long time to a 10 year old.  Of course, he was starving by the time we were done doing my shopping.  I didn’t want to use any more time in town than we had to, because I was in a hurry to get back home before the daylight was gone.

So I took Logan to a Wendy’s fast food restuarant.  Not something I normally do, as I try to avoid fast food for health reasons.

Earlier this week a friend of mine sent me an link to website all about the dangers of house flies.  It described how many germs flies carried and all sorts of other gross information that I wont scare you with here.

With that mind, I noticed several flies when ordering.  I ordered a salad and Logan ordered a chicken sandwich.  After we put our food on the table, I asked Logan to make sure a fly did not land on my salad while I went into the bathroom to wash my hands.  (Logan already washed his while I ordered)

I sat down and began eating my salad, but I couldn’t stop thinking about those darn flies.  There only appeared to be two in the restaurant, but wouldn’t you know it, they both kept coming to me.  They didn’t seem to be bothering Logan or any of the other people eating inside.

Whenever one of them would get anywhere near me I would take a swat to shoo them away.  I swear those darn flies just wouldn’t leave me alone.

Nearing the end of my salad, you can probably guess what I found in it.  Yes, as gross as can be, I found a dead fly in my salad.  It wasn’t a housefly either, but some kind of longer legged version, so it probably was shipped in the lettuce.

It was a terribly gross lesson, and one I really would rather never think about again, but it was a lesson nonetheless.

Ever since my pal sent me that link about how disgusting flies were, I have been thinking about that.  Thinking about how they are immune to various diseases, germs and pathogens that they carry on their legs.  It had been on my mind for days, and when I entered that Wendys the first thing I noticed was the flies.

As I sat there, continuing to think about them, I was attracting them into my personal reality.  Even though I certainly did not want them, I was attracting the flies to me.

I didn’t realize that I was wishing for flies at the time, but that is exactly what frequency I was vibrating it.  I had a fly vibe….   and so I got flies.

What are you attracting?

If you are watching the news and you believe that the economy is bad, what will you be expecting to happen to you?  What are you creating for yourself?

I don’t watch the news, but I do know that people are running around with a big old negative vibe.  NOT ME.  My economy is great.  The people I am working with are doing great also.  We are not carrying around a doom and gloom vibe.

But as my story above clearly shows, it is easy to forget that what we focus on, we get.  Good or bad, we get it.

So please be sure to focus on what you want in life, and NOT what you DON’T want.

I have heard that question more than once in my life.  I heard it when I decided to write my first book.  I heard it when I decided to quit my job and work from home….  and now I am hearing it because I have decided to build a 10 foot tall building.

“What in the world has made you think you could build a 10 foot high work shop?”

To which I reply, “What in the world made you think I could not?”

Just because you have never done something before, does not mean that you can’t!  There is a first time for EVERYTHING.

There is a big difference between knowing the law of attraction, and living the law of attraction.

Knowing the law of attraction to many people means trying to feel good and keep a positive attitude.  They may even focus on manifesting something once and a while.

LIVING a life in harmony with the law of attraction, began with the teachings in the Secret Course.   I used manifesting Cards until they became a such an ingrained thing… a way of life for me…  that this is now how I live.

You see, it is true that I have no idea how to build a workshop, but I envisioned myself using this workshop.  Each night I used a manifesting card and FELT grateful for my new workshop.

(Using a manifesting card you work backwards, and begin at the end.  The beginning is being thankful for already having something that you do not yet have.  Feeling yourself having it, attracts or creates it into your life, to complete the circle)

Sooo…..   I buy the wood, and I have the plans, and even though I have NO WAY of knowing HOW this building will be constucted, I DO KNOW THAT IT WILL BE.  That certainty has a calming effect.

You see, the old me would have panicked over the details.  The old me would say “I can never do that”….  but I no longer allow such such limiting thoughts.

One way or another, it will be done.   It took me over a week to build the floor and foundation.  Each time a negative thought entered my mind, I would release it and let it leave as easily as it had come in.

I had no idea that my good friend John was going to stop in from out of town.   It turns out that his wife was out of state with family and he was more than happy to help me erect the walls.

What perfect timing too, because I had just finished the raised floor, and spent a great deal of time getting it level.

Sunday, we were able to erect all four walls.  It was amazing.  My neighbors couldn’t believe how fast we put this thing up.  In fact, we even had time to build the gable roof raters.

What was even more amazing was how much fun we had doing it.  We kept laughing like school kids and having a great time telling stories and catching up.  It didn’t even feel like work.  It all flowed perfectly.

I enjoyed my visit with John, and getting the building up was a great bonus!

Monday I have finished all of the project except for sheeting the roof.

Now I have to admit that the roof seems nearly impossible to nail on, since it is 12 feet in the air and I don’t feel that the rafters are strong enough for me to stand on (I am, and always have been, a large man).

Yes, I could hire someone….   I always could have hired someone, but I wanted the experience of doing it myself.  I am very happy having built the entire building, to hire someone just for the roof.

Here it is Tuesday, and I am set to hire someone when another friend of mine calls me up from down my street.  He offers to come over and help me with the roof today after he gets off work.

I had no idea how it was going to be built, only the certainty that it would.

When you manifest something, think of  it as destiny.  It is destined to be.  The universe will make it so, as long as you don’t hesitate (the universe loves speed) and as long as you are ready and willing to take some form of action.

Keep in mind that whenever you decide to do something new with your life, people will try to stop you.  They can’t see your new vision, and they will try to hold you back.  For various reasons, they like the old you and don’t like the idea of change.

When I decided to write my first book, my own mom said something along the lines of “Why would anyone read what you have to say?”.   She didn’t see me as a writer, and she wanted to keep me the way she saw me.

Don’t let anyone stop you.  I didn’t even allow myself to get angry at my mother for such an insensitive remark, because that would have taken me further off course.  Instead, I kept my vision of helping people and kept writing what eventually became one of the best selling Law of Attraction courses of all time.

Yes, I did have friends who believed in me, and some who even encouraged me to write the book(s) because they saw how much my the law of attraction had changed my life.

A good general rule, however, is NOT to tell others what you are manifesting until AFTER you have manifested it.  This way no one will be working against you .

You can do anything you wan to.
You can be anyone you want to be.

Decide what you want, and go for it.  It’s already yours.

A quest to find happiness…  with surprising results!

First off, I am lucky enough to have discovered how to make money on the internet even when I am nowhere near a computer.   Using the techniques found in the online Wealth Course, I make money everyday no matter what I am doing.  So my income barely noticed my 41 days off….

This is how I make money on autopilot

Of course I used the law of attraction to manifest a lifestyle of reliable income that created the free time I so desired.

It’s important to know that I used the manifesting cards to attract (or create) the lifestyle that I desired and then I let the universe deliver it to me.  I didn’t set out to find a way to make money online….  that is just how the universe delivered it to me.

So on my 41 days off I didn’t sit in deep meditation on top of mountain somewhere seeking the meaning of life.  No, I did meditate, but mostly I immersed myself into the things that I enjoy.

I learned how to play golf and enjoyed it tremendously.  I spent time with my friends and neighbors.  Took some family trips, went camping and did some fishing.

I also bought a lot of things that I didn’t need. A new laptop, new computer, large hard drive, garden stuff, put in a new sprinkler system, car related toys,  electronic gadgets, collectibles, luxury camping equipment and thousands of dollars of miscellaneous products.

You see, my quest was to find what makes me happy.   What exactly is it in life that produces a lasting happiness.

I think you will be surprised by the results of my experiment.

It was no surprise that those late at night infomercial products did not create a lasting happiness.  In fact, the happiest I ever felt with those products was when I watched the ad on television or read about it online.

Even though some of the products I purchased were a lot of fun at first, none of them produced lasting happiness.

Teaching my nine year old to fish….  that provided true joy.   Not the hundreds of dollars of fishing gear, not going out on the boat….  it was the teaching and spending time with him and creating that father and son bond that created a lasting happiness.

I was surprised to find how much I missed all of you.  In my rush to find happiness I neglected to realize that I enjoy this site and I enjoy my mailing list.  Reading your emails and replying to them gives me a sense of purpose.  Knowing that I am helping people while providing for my family is a great feeling.

Best of all for me was knowing that I didn’t have to work… didn’t have to lift a finger and that money would still come in.  That kind of security….  that was very comforting.

Freedom…

The Freedom to do what I want when I want to do it, that is a great feeling.  To know that each morning when I wake up I can do whatever I desire with my day….  that is priceless!

Knowing that I made money while I was sleeping….   That’s a great feeling too.

Sure, the toys and gadgets can be fun….  but at the end of the day (or the end of 41 days), its the free time that is the most important.

If you knew for a fact that using the official Secret Course would give you all the time that you needed….  the freedom do live the life you desire…  would you order it?

Of course you would.

Time is the most valuable thing you and I have.  Time is the one thing money can’t buy…

When you get a job your boss is paying you for hours of your life.  Put in 40 hours and get paid your hourly wage.

But what about the time for yourself?  Time to spend with your kids… time for romance…  time for fun.

It is completely backwards to give 5 days a week to a job and 2 days a week for yourself.

When you work online, you can reverse that and spend 2 days of week working and 5 days a week playing.

Once you have everything in place, like I do, you can take 41 days off like me and you’ll still get checks in the mail and money deposited directly into your account.

The internet runs 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.  It never closes…

Nothing feels better than making money while helping people, although making money while you sleep does come pretty close.

Knowing that while I am playing golf or fishing with my boy that I am earning money…   well….  that’s a great feeling.

In conclusion, what I found that makes me the happiest in life is time and freedom.

I truly believe that the Secret Course can give you that… and a whole lot more, just like it gave it to me, and hundreds of others.

PS – My “work” online feels more like play.  I love doing this.

When I read the card I allow myself to feel healthy.  I imagine myself with a body that is stronger and full of more vigor.

I lay on my back and with my eyes closed, just before falling asleep, I use the Extraordinary Health visualization/meditation As I use this simple technique, I actually feel stronger and feel healthier.

Now most of you who know me know that it was using the Manifesting Cards method that allowed me to shed over 100lbs of unwanted body weight.

Manifesting Cards work, but for health…  I combined the power of Law of Attraction with mind over matter healing and simply relaxed myself to sleep using this meditation

Amazingly, I was able to cure two conditions that doctors told me were “incurable”.

But right now, I am not trying to overcome anything in particular.   I am just using the Extraordinary Health meditation,  even though I am healthy, because I know that without health nothing else matters.

Something Very Unexpected Has Happened…

But first, I want to speak to anyone who doesn’t think that health is the most important aspect in your life.   I have worked with people in the past who thought money was more important than health, but I always begin by asking them what good would 10 million dollars do you if you had a terminal disease that was going to kill you tomorrow?

Money is important, but not more important than your health.

Love is important, but love is stronger, deeper and longer lasting when the people in love are healthy and not suffering from body pains.

Some people crave power.  While this is not one that I can relate to, because the only power I want is power over my own life, I still have to ask the power hungry person what good would all the power in the world do you if you didn’t have power over your own health?

It is my opinion that health needs to come first.

So as I mentioned earlier, I have been doing this for the last few months and I have had a few strange things happen.

Before I share my amazing results, I have to set the record straight:

For the record: I am not making any medical claims nor am I a doctor.  I am just sharing my own personal experience with the world.  I am not trying to diagnose or cure anyone.

Now, with that out of the way, here is my story:

First, I had a doctors exam, and my doctor ran a full panel of blood tests….  Much to both of our surprise -  everything came back normal.  Now when I say everything , I mean EVERYTHING.

My white blood cell count, my HDL, LDL, triglycerides, liver enzymes,  RBC, Hct, Hbg, MCV, MCH, RDW, and all the other things they measure (most of which I am never told what they mean unless one or more of them are too high or too low) all came back perfect.

I have been getting blood tests once a year since I was in my twenties and there has ALWAYS been SOMETHING that the doctor wanted to warn me about.  In the past I have had high liver enzymes that made the doctor suspect a fatty liver.  I had a high white blood cell count which led the doctor to think I had some kind of underlying infection.  I have had high “bad” cholesterol  and I even had “low” good cholesterol show up twice.  I have had borderline values in various things that led the doctor to tell me we were going to “keep an eye on that with a followup test in 6 months”.

Here I am, closing in on 40 and my blood test comes back perfect…  EVERYTHING exactly where it needs to be!

For that, I am very grateful and happy.

But last week I had something equally amazing happen.

I started getting headaches and I noticed that it appeared to be coming from my eyes.  When I put my glasses on my vision seemed to be worse than it was without my glasses.

I have been near sighted since I was a child.

I decided it must be time for an eye exam and I suspected that I may need a stronger prescription for my lenses.  It had been at least two years since my last eye exam.

I went in and had a full eye exam and to my surprise I was told that my left eye had somehow become nearly perfect and that it no longer needed  a correcting.

My right eye had improved some, but the prescription he wrote for it was so mild that he said he wasn’t sure it would be worth getting glasses for.

This is why things appeared more blurry to me WITH my glasses than it did without my glasses.

I showed him my old glasses and he thought that someone had not done a good eye exam and had incorrectly given me far to strong of lenses.  I tried to reassure him that these glasses used to work great for me but he doubted it possible that eyes would be improving and found it more likely that my previous eye exam, which was done by different eye doctor, was flawed.

So, after three to four months of consistently using the Extraordinary Health Meditation each night just before falling asleep, my health REALLY does seem to be improving.  I feel better and a blood test and even an eye exam seem to back it up.

Skeptics would call it a coincidence or luck.

I like to call it “Creating My Own Luck”.

Needless to say….  I AM VERY EXCITED.

With all the negative news about the economy, and people losing their jobs, there is a lot of fear out there right now, which is why I choose to look at my life from a slightly different angle…

I will use myself as an example here, but odds are you can apply 90% of what I am about to say to yourself as well.

I am richer than all the Kings in centuries past.   King Solomon never had a heated house like I do.  With all his wealth and power he never had wall to wall carpet, like I do.

The mighty Merlin, if he indeed existed, would be amazed at the magic box I have in my front room.  With this box I can see events from around the world.  Yes, I sit in total comfort on my soft couch while I watch my magical box that let’s me see a million actors and brings me news from every corner of the globe.

Great Rome in all its glory was proud to have public baths which were heated, while I take hot baths or showers in my own home everyday.  In fact, water both hot and cold are piped right into my house, in several locations even, and with a flip of a switch I can have hot or cold water in an instant, day or night.

The richest men in history’s past would collect books from around the world and build private libraries with all their wealth…. yet they would blush at how small their collection of information is when compared to what I can access on the internet.

Any question I want answered is just a few keystrokes away on the internet.  For a few dollars I can have a new book immediately sent to me from anywhere around the world.

For a few cents I can have messengers deliver a paper message of mine to the furthest reaches of my country, or for free I could send an email message to the furthest reaches of the entire planet.

I am immune to Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertusis, Hepatitis A and B, Measles, Mumps and Rubella, Polio, Meningitis and more…  because I was given a few shots as a child.  In fact, everyone I know is immune to most of these, and these diseases have been nearly wiped out from my nation.

My children are strong and healthy, and none of my three children nor my wife died in child birth, as was so common before modern medicine.

I can travel further than any king in a fraction of the time.  Thousands of men have paved all the roads ahead of me, making long distance travel fast, smooth and easy.  I can travel many times the speed of a horse while remaining in luxury, no bouncing up and down and I am completely protected from the elements.

Yes, I am so rich that I can board a plane and fly from one city to another at speeds no man in centuries past would dare to dream.

I am so rich that I have no shortage of food, in fact the problem I have is quite the opposite.  I have such an abundance of rich and tasty food flown in from around the world, but I must be careful to not to eat so much that I explode.

But even if I do eat so much that I become a rounder version of myself, I can still have people make me clothes that fit…  yes, I am truly rich.

Even the bed I sleep in would have made the richest men in history proud, it is soft and firm at the same time, and I sleep like a baby in it, on cotton sheets with a thread count higher than was ever possible in histories past.

I can pick up a phone and call anyone nearly anywhere in the world, and I can keep this magical phone in my pocket and use invisible waves in the air to make these magical calls whenever I desire.

The air in my home is warm in the winter and cool in the summer.  I have a device to take dust out of the air and make it crisp and clean.  I can cook in my house without the need for fire, and I have a hood with vent that removes any smoke to the outside if smoke should occur.

When I sleep at night I have devices which monitor the air for smoke, and in case of a fire they will wake me up and warn me.  Of course if fire should occur, men will come rushing to my aid, day or night, and use giant hoses to put the fire out.

Yes, I am truly rich….

Not just because I am happy and in love with my wife.  Not just because my children love me as much as I love them or because they look up to me.

No…  I am physically rich….    Rich beyond the great Caesar himself ever was…

I even do what most rich people in the past have done, I forget how rich that I am and take my wealth for granite.  I forget how magical my life is and sometimes think about how I could have more…..

Not today… not right now….   Right now I am thankful for my vast wealth.
