How A Child, A Magnet and My PC = 11 Cent Sale Delay
You may have noticed that I have not written an update since Saturday. As you are about to hear, there is a good reason for this.
It all began when my internet connection stopped working on my main PC. I have two more computers in my office and both of these were working fine. So I pulled my computer out, expecting to test the network cable or replace the network card inside the computer.
Instead what I found was my kids toy magnet attached to the rear of my computer. That’s when things really started to go wrong.
Soooooooo…… The 11 cent sale that was planned for tomorrow is going to be postponed one week…. to Wednesday June 18th. Please accept my apology for the set back.
To make it up to you, I am going to put together a nice free gift for everyone. Keep your eyes glued here, or join my mailing list to be notified of its release.
The strangest thing was after I got my computer back up and running I also needed to replace my router. Lucky for me I had a spare router collecting dust in my home office.
Everything should be great, now I just have to play some catch-up.
May your day be all that you intend it to be,
John Derrick
You are lucky your computer works!
Sounds like someone was playing in daddy’s office!
see you next Wed.
I am eternally grateful that my computer is up and running and that the downtime was limited to a few days. There is some data loss, but nothing compared to what would have happened it that magnet had corrupted my hard drive. So I count my lucky stars.
Ouch! Glad all is well & look forward to the 11 cent sale!!!
Thanks John. I am looking forward to it also! Always nice to see you here friend.
