Just wanted to get an update on here to let everyone know that the 24 hour, huge sale to celebrate my 38th birthday is now CLOSED.

It was a HUGE success…   Thank You to everyone involved.

The sale may be closed, but Things are STILL absolutely CRAZY around here.

The looks the neighbors have been giving me when I load my kids into a car that is filled nearly to the roof with packages…..

“What made you think you could do that?”

I have heard that question more than once in my life.  I heard it when I decided to write my first book.  I heard it when I decided to quit my job and work from home….  and now I am hearing it because I have decided to build a 10 foot tall building.

“What in the world has made you think you could build a 10 foot high work shop?”

To which I reply, “What in the world made you think I could not?”

Just because you have never done something before, does not mean that you can’t!  There is a first time for EVERYTHING.

There is a big difference between knowing the law of attraction, and living the law of attraction.

Knowing the law of attraction to many people means trying to feel good and keep a positive attitude.  They may even focus on manifesting something once and a while.

LIVING a life in harmony with the law of attraction, began with the teachings in the Secret Course.   I used manifesting Cards until they became a such an ingrained thing… a way of life for me…  that this is now how I live.

You see, it is true that I have no idea how to build a workshop, but I envisioned myself using this workshop.  Each night I used a manifesting card and FELT grateful for my new workshop.

(Using a manifesting card you work backwards, and begin at the end.  The beginning is being thankful for already having something that you do not yet have.  Feeling yourself having it, attracts or creates it into your life, to complete the circle)

Sooo…..   I buy the wood, and I have the plans, and even though I have NO WAY of knowing HOW this building will be constucted, I DO KNOW THAT IT WILL BE.  That certainty has a calming effect.

You see, the old me would have panicked over the details.  The old me would say “I can never do that”….  but I no longer allow such such limiting thoughts.

One way or another, it will be done.   It took me over a week to build the floor and foundation.  Each time a negative thought entered my mind, I would release it and let it leave as easily as it had come in.

I had no idea that my good friend John was going to stop in from out of town.   It turns out that his wife was out of state with family and he was more than happy to help me erect the walls.

What perfect timing too, because I had just finished the raised floor, and spent a great deal of time getting it level.

Sunday, we were able to erect all four walls.  It was amazing.  My neighbors couldn’t believe how fast we put this thing up.  In fact, we even had time to build the gable roof raters.

What was even more amazing was how much fun we had doing it.  We kept laughing like school kids and having a great time telling stories and catching up.  It didn’t even feel like work.  It all flowed perfectly.

I enjoyed my visit with John, and getting the building up was a great bonus!

Monday I have finished all of the project except for sheeting the roof.

Now I have to admit that the roof seems nearly impossible to nail on, since it is 12 feet in the air and I don’t feel that the rafters are strong enough for me to stand on (I am, and always have been, a large man).

Yes, I could hire someone….   I always could have hired someone, but I wanted the experience of doing it myself.  I am very happy having built the entire building, to hire someone just for the roof.

Here it is Tuesday, and I am set to hire someone when another friend of mine calls me up from down my street.  He offers to come over and help me with the roof today after he gets off work.

I had no idea how it was going to be built, only the certainty that it would.

When you manifest something, think of  it as destiny.  It is destined to be.  The universe will make it so, as long as you don’t hesitate (the universe loves speed) and as long as you are ready and willing to take some form of action.

Keep in mind that whenever you decide to do something new with your life, people will try to stop you.  They can’t see your new vision, and they will try to hold you back.  For various reasons, they like the old you and don’t like the idea of change.

When I decided to write my first book, my own mom said something along the lines of “Why would anyone read what you have to say?”.   She didn’t see me as a writer, and she wanted to keep me the way she saw me.

Don’t let anyone stop you.  I didn’t even allow myself to get angry at my mother for such an insensitive remark, because that would have taken me further off course.  Instead, I kept my vision of helping people and kept writing what eventually became one of the best selling Law of Attraction courses of all time.

Yes, I did have friends who believed in me, and some who even encouraged me to write the book(s) because they saw how much my the law of attraction had changed my life.

A good general rule, however, is NOT to tell others what you are manifesting until AFTER you have manifested it.  This way no one will be working against you .

You can do anything you wan to.
You can be anyone you want to be.

Decide what you want, and go for it.  It’s already yours.

My 9 Year Old Teaches All of Us A Lesson In The Law of Attraction

As a parent, I have learned a lot about life from my three children.  This Saturday, my nine year old son, Logan, showed me the difference in thinking between children and adults.

It was a HUGE lesson for me… and aside from being a cute story, I offer it up to reveal this hidden truth for you as well!

Logan and I were out running various errands together.  Our last stop took us to Subway for a nice healthy sub sandwich.

It had been a good day and all of our stops had gone smoothly, just as I had envisioned.

I ordered my sandwich first, with every vegetable they had, and a drink.  Logan then ordered a foot long sandwich for the first time, with chips and a drink.  He was pretty hungry that day and excited about the possibility of having some left over for lunch the next day.

When the person making the sandwiches rang up our order, it came to $13.87 which coincidently was the EXACT amount of cash I had left in my wallet.  Sure, I had my debit card with me and several credit cards, so if it had been more it wouldn’t have mattered because I had access to all of my money.   That’s not the point….  It was the fact that the total was the exact amount of money… TO THE PENNY that I had on me.

We both were talking about how neat that was as we carried our meals to our table.  Logan’s little smile was ear to ear.

Then for a moment, he looked sad.  I asked him what was wrong, and he said “Oh Nothing” which is usually code for “ask me again dad”.  So I asked him again if there was anything on his mind.

“I just realized that I wanted a cookie and I know you won’t use one of your cards for a one dollar cookie”

He was correct.  I don’t like to use my debit cards for such a small amount.  Being a business owner I know first hand that the fees the bank charges per sale means that the store would actually loose money on a one dollar item.

The only employee there was now sweeping the floor because he was getting ready to close early.  He had already pulled the chips rack.  We were the only customers in the place.  Maybe he had already shut down the ATM/Credit Card machine?

“But that’s okay.  I am going to think positive and I know that a cookie will show up”

My first thought was how in the world is he going to do that?  I sat there thinking about logical things such as nearby ATM’s or making a larger purchase.  Then I was thinking about how he probably doesn’t even need a sugar laden cookie anyway.

“It’s okay Dad.  I’m using the law of attraction” he said with a grin.

Ha Ha Ha.  I burst out laughing.  Of course this required an explanation on my part because Logan could not see anything funny about this.

Leave it to a child to show an adult what living in the moment is all about.  As an adult, I use the Law of Attraction in big ways on what I think are important things.  Such as keeping myself healthy… and attracting wealth to me.  I’ve used it for a house and for a car…  but never for a cookie.

At that moment in time, Logan wanted a cookie.  Not a thousand dollars…. Not a mansion… not a new car… he wanted a cookie and he had faith that he would get one.

I explained to him why I had laughed and how proud of him I was.

He told me “I learned it all from you Dad… and from reading your book”

Which is true….  I had taught him about the Law of Attraction. In fact, Logan was one of the first people in the world to read the  Manifesting Cards eBook.

The first thing he did was to manifest himself a brand new bicycle that was nearly identical to mine (18 speeds, chrome and purple, etc)…  a bike that I had no idea that was even made….  But that’s a story for another time.

We both went back to eating our sandwiches.  I couldn’t have been happier with my son than at that moment.  We sat there smiling at each other enjoying our food, when suddenly Logan saw the sticker on the wrapper of my sandwich.

It was a SubWay Scrabble game piece that said “More ways to win”.  I peeled it off and it said “Sorry, not an instant winner”  Logan found his an peeled it and it said the same.

For a moment I sat surprised.  I thought wow… that seemed like the perfect way to win a free cookie.  Of course I wasn’t even sure that cookies were offered as a prize.

He didn’t look sad though.  He still had faith that he was going to get a cookie somehow… some way.  The how was not his job.  His job was the absolute unwavering faith…  and he had it.

That’s when I noticed that there were game pieces on our cups also.

He peeled his back and it said “You’ve won a 12 oz fountain drink”.  That’s pretty neat… but not what we were hoping for.

Logan said “You must have the cookie then!” referring to the game piece I had not peeled off of my cup yet.

I peeled the game piece from my cup and sure enough I had won a free cookie.

YES! – Logan and I celebrated.

“I knew it,” Logan said.

A month from now Logan may not remember this incident, but this is a prime example of how the Law of Attraction can be used in the moment.  It’s a great lesson to all of us to live in the moment.

You may not have a million dollars at this moment, but maybe what you really want is a cookie.

PS – It’s a great idea to keep a journal of all the times you have used the law of attraction.  This way you can look back over all your past successes if you ever find your faith wavering.

How long does it take to manifesting something using The Law of Attraction?
The universe (if that is the term that you are happy with) can deliver whatever it is that you desire to manifest into your life just as fast as you will allow it.

Sounds a little vague right?  But it’s true, and I’ll explain it to you very specifically.

If you think that something is harder for you to achieve, it will take longer for you to get.  It is YOU that is forcing the delay.  It is your belief.

That is why I suggest people start with something they consider small.  Whatever it is that you consider small and easy, that is the best place for you to begin.  IF you perceive it as easy and quick, you will be able to manifest it much quicker and that will build your confidence and allow you to advance.

You also want to make sure that you are putting more in than you are taking out.

The Metaphorical Water Model

Allow me to illustrate these three factors for you in a manner that may make this concept clearer, using a metaphorical model.

We have no way of measuring how much vibrational energy it takes to manifest something, but for the sake of our metaphorical model, we will have to assign a number value.  The number is not meant to be an absolute; it is merely a representation for the purpose of this model.

You already know that you vibrate at many different frequencies, and this vibrational energy is what is sent out to the universe.  In our metaphor, we will use water to represent vibrational energy and a large container to represent the universe.

Say a man named Fred desired to manifest himself a new car.  Using our water metaphor, we assign the amount of water it will take to manifest Fred’s new car as 50 gallons of water.

Our hypothetical Fred believes that he can manifest this car and he feels grateful for already owning his new car.  Each time he uses the Manifesting with Gratitude Cards method, he is sending a cup of water out to the universe.

Again, these numbers are merely representational for the vibrational energy and they should not be taken literally.

Using this model, Fred will need to use the Manifesting Cards 800 times to fill our model 50-gallon barrel to the top, and thus manifest his dream car into reality.

If Fred uses the cards twice per day, once in the morning and once before bed, it will take him 400 days, or a little over a year, to manifest his new car.

Fred has taken our course and he knows that if he uses the Gratitude Cards more often, he will speed up the amount of time it takes to manifest his dream car.  Our friend Fred decides he is going to use the cards five times a day and now it will only take 160 days, or a little over 5 months to manifest.

As Fred goes along in life, he sees more and more proof that this manifesting stuff really works.  He has been manifesting smaller things for himself and so his belief has doubled.  He is sure his car is on the way and he imagines himself driving it every time he uses the Manifesting Cards.

Because Fred’s belief has doubled, he is now putting two cups of water into the barrel each time he uses the Manifesting cards, and he has now cut the amount of time required in half!  Using his cards five times a day it will now take our friend just 80 days, or a tad over two and a half months to manifest his dream car.

What if Fred develops doubts about his ability to manifest?  What if he begins to think that this isn’t going to work?  On those days, Fred would actually be taking water out of the 50-gallon barrel and he would be increasing the amount of time it takes to fill the barrel and manifest his new car.

If Fred had doubts everyday or a belief that he did not deserve a new car, he would be putting holes into the 50-gallon barrel and draining it as fast as or faster than he is able to fill it and thus making it nearly impossible to ever manifest his dream car.

I hope that this metaphorical model is able to give you an idea of how the process really works.  Although we have no way of measuring vibrational energy in exact numbers in real life, we do know that the more often you use the method, the quicker the results come.  Stronger feelings and beliefs also speeds up the manifesting process.

On the other hand, we know that if you have doubts or conflicting beliefs, then it will take longer for you to manifest your desires.  If your negativity, doubts and conflicting beliefs actually overpower your positive belief in manifesting, you will not be able to manifest what you desire at all.

In summary, the stronger the feeling and the more often you visit the feeling, the quicker you will manifest what you are feeling.
