Hard to believe that 2015 is hours away from being behind us.
It’s the time to set resolutions for the New Year.
My resolution is to be more active on this blog. I miss all of you and writing posts here help me as much as they do anyone else.
What do you hope to accomplish in 2016?
With the right mindset you can accomplish anything. They key is to NEVER QUIT. Don’t give up a month or two down the road. Keep at it. Think positive and FEEL the success you want as if you already have it.
There are many Law of Attraction Tools available (My favorite is the Manifesting Cards Method) but a simple thing you can begin doing NOW, is to pay attention to your thoughts and how your thoughts make you feel.
Your thoughts create your reality.
Most people think that this is something new, or a newage way of thinking, but it really isn’t new at all.
I am currently reading the book FEELING GOOD: The New Mood Therapy, by David D. Burns M.D. The book itself is written for people to overcome Depression and Anxiety, but the premise of the book is that “Your thoughts create your feelings. If you change your thoughts, you will change how you feel.” In fact, this simple premise is clinically proven and the basis for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
If you want to have the power to control your thoughts, I HIGHLY recommend reading this book. It’s just a few dollars and its a skill you can carry with you for a lifetime!
In the Old Testament, Proverbs 23:7 you will find “For as he thinks within himself, so he is”.
WOW. That’s really powerful stuff. If you think negatively about yourself then you will not get positive results. Sounds too simple right? Simple, but true.
In my opinion the absolute best thing you can do for yourself this year is to gain control of your thoughts because your thoughts create your feelings and feelings are what power the universe.
Everyone can benefit from happier, uplifting, positive thoughts and self-image.
