Lose Weight and Keep It Off With This…

UPDATE: Since I wrote this post I have recieved comments and several email complaints telling me that I was wrong.  So I have written THIS POST as a followup to this one.

No, I am not going to recommend a book, or a product of any kind.

But to be honest, I was shocked to see which book was number one for the word DIET on Amazon:  SEE HERE

If you want to achieve a SUSTAINED weight loss, which is to say you want to lose weight and not have it come back again, there is really only one way to do it.

JUST DO THESE TWO THINGS:

#1  Eat Healthy

Eating healthy means eating fresh fruits and vegetables along with lean meats such as poultry and fish.

DO NOT eat the bad white’s:  Bread, pasta, rice, potatoes and sugar.

What you want to eat is FOOD, not man-made food-like substances.  Don’t over eat and have as much vegetables as you desire, it is pretty hard to consume too many vegetables, especially green ones.

#2 Exercise

I know you didn’t want to hear this, but there is no way around it.  If you want to be thin, and waaaay more important if you want to be HEALTHY and live a long healthy life, you have to move your body.  Research shows that a minimum of 20 minutes a day, but for best results you really should shoot for an hour a day.

That may sound like a lot, but you can break it up into smaller pieces through out the day.  Take a 20 minute walk before work, or better yet walk or bicycle into work.  20 minutes of walking on lunch and your already 40 minutes done.  Now you just need to find 20 minutes when you get off work and you are set.

If it is important to you to be healthy, fit, energetic and live a long time, you will find the time.

How many stupid TV shows have you found countless hours to watch?

Pretty easy huh?  Okay, so maybe not so easy, but I dare you to find someone who eats healthy and exercises 60 minutes a day who is obese.  All these miracle diets that come out each year do allow for weight loss, but it is never permanent unless  you incorporate the two things I covered here.
